How to Donate
Donor Sounds
Donor Sounds are short audio clips that eligible donors can play in-game using a menu.
They’re meant to be fun, quick, and not disruptive.
Quick Commands (type in chat):
/ds — open Donor Sounds menu (donors only)
/dsblock — toggle hearing donor sounds ON/OFF (saved)
How it works (Players)
- Open the menu: press Y and type
/ds (works in public or team chat).
- Pick a sound from the menu to play it.
- Limit: 1 sound per round. If you already used one this round, you’ll see:
[DonorSounds] You already used a sound this round.
- Slots: donors can have up to 5 assigned sounds (SteamID-based).
Don’t want to hear donor sounds?
- Type
/dsblock to toggle donor sounds off for yourself.
- This preference is saved to your SteamID, so it stays blocked next time you join.
Who hears the sound?
- Depending on current server settings, donor sounds may play:
- To everyone (most common)
- Only to your team
- Only to yourself
(This is controlled by the server.)
- If announcements are enabled, the server may post a message when a donor sound is used.
Donor access (SteamID based)
- Donor Sounds are assigned by SteamID in a server config file.
- If you don’t have access,
/ds will say:
[DonorSounds] You do not have access.
Sound submission guidelines (Donors)
- Keep it short: best 1–3 seconds (please avoid long clips)
- No hate / harassment / racism (instant rejection)
- No ear-rape / extremely loud mastering
- No copyrighted music (or expect it to be rejected)
- Accepted formats: WAV or MP3 (approved list)
